NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: The lawyers’ community Saturday boycotted the courts proceedings to press the government to reinstate all the deposed judges, including Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
The lawyers held a general body meeting at the Judicial Complex building and took out a rally led by District Bar Association Leader Muhammad Shabir Khanzada, Sardar Akber Ujan, Lala Muzaffar Panhwar.
They were wearing black armbands and chanting slogans ‘Go Musharraf go’ and marched through various roads and chowks of the city.
They said they would force the rulers to reinstate Justice Iftikhar and their struggle would continue till the reinstatement of the deposed judges.
They claimed that the people knew that Justice Iftikhar was the real chief justice of the country.
