About

It is a private effort since 2007 to put all the legal happenings on one page. It’s a non-profit news publishing website and we do not represent Justices or Courts of any country in this world.

Chief Justice Blog is devoted to covering law news comprehensively, without bias, and according to the highest journalistic and legal ethical standards. The blog is provided as a public service.

Here we are going to tell you the story behind the Chief Justice Blog. Earlier this blog was named on the legendary Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice (retd.) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. We started a group and blog in the year of 2007 soon after the suspension of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. We are short of words for this long story. Later on, we decided to change its name due to the frequent law and policy changes in Pakistan. Though it has been always a private effort to promote legal awareness around the globe.

Sarah Peracha is the proud face behind all these efforts to promote rule of law and lawyers’ movement motive digitally. She was a student when she started an activism group on Facebook and a blog. By this input in the law sector of this country; She became the First Law Blogger of Pakistan. At such a young age she had a bright vision of law and justice and had the clear concept of troubles in the field of Law, Litigation, Law Making, Judicial System, and Justice in Pakistan.

We are serving more than 350K readers every month on Facebook with more than dozens of stories, editorials, and podcasts; every month from around the globe. We regularly publish broader analytical pieces.

All of the material we collect and publish is easily accessible on the blog. If your work is featured on CJBlog, please let us know if we have accidentally failed to credit you. We will correct the error immediately.
