ISLAMABAD: chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary turned 60 on Friday while a special ceremony was held in this regard at his house.
According to details deposed CJ was born in December 12, 1948 in Faisalabad and celebrated his 60th birthday in which a large number of lawyers and members of civil society had participated.
The participants cut the birthday cake and prayed for his long life. Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary became the judge of Balochistan High court at the age of 42 and in 2005 he was appointed as Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP).
It is worth-while mentioning that President Pervez Musharraf had issued the orders of his appointment on May 07 2005 as Chief Justice of Pakistan while he took oath as CJP from President Pervez Musharraf.
