ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudry has termed sovereign judiciary as most imperative for restoration of peace and tranquility in the society.
The deposed Chief Justice held a meeting with Secretary Finance Supreme Court Bar Association Ahsan-ud-Din Sheikh and senior Advocate Zulfiqar Malooka at his residence, who apprised the Chief Justice about the preparations for long march.
Finance secretary also reiterated on the occasion that lawyers’ sit in would continue till the objectives of the lawyers’ movement are attained, as all the sections of the society are united for sovereignty of judiciary.
