CJP ordered to release mentally challenged man of Karachi.

KARACHI: Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has ordered to release a mentally challenged man from Karachi’s Landhi jail on Saturday, Geo News reported.
Mentally hindered Bilal alias Bilawal was arrested 12 years ago on the charges of roaming around aimlessly and was imprisoned for 12 years.
Chief Justice took suo moto of the case and ordered to release Bilal on the request registered by his family.
Bilal, now aged 28, is the resident of Machar Colony.

Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took notice of illegal detention of a mentally unfit youth detained in Landhi Jail for 12 years.
The CJ who is on Karachi visit, ordered police to release the innocent youth Bilal alias Bilawal, a resident of Machar colony , now aged 28, when his family staged demonstration upon CJ’s arrival.
According to reports, police arrested Bilal on the charges of roaming around aimlessly and was imprisoned for 12 years.
