ISLAMABAD: MQM chief Altaf Hussain has tendered his unconditional apology to the Supreme Court in the hearing of the contempt notice against him.
The apology was submitted by MQM lawyer Farogh Naseem on behalf of Altaf Hussain.
The Supreme Court had directed Altaf Hussain through a notice to appear on January 7 to justify his remarks against the judiciary in the hearing of the contempt notice.
Earlier on Monday, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said it would not be possible for Altaf Hussain to appear before the Supreme Court due to unavoidable circumstances.
